Introduction

Welcome to PufferMC, a premier Minecraft server hosting provider. Our rules apply to any form of media/game tied to the “PufferMC” brand. This includes but is not limited to: Our Minecraft Server, Website, Our Discord and Social Media Platforms (Instagram, TikTok). If you believe we have wrongly taken action towards you please file a ticket here.

We do not moderate user servers, however, we do take reports for misuse/offensive servers. We do not monitor servers for Minecraft EULA compliance, you can report them here.

Players may create and enforce any rules they see fit on their own servers, providing they do not contradict our rules or Minecraft EULA.

Registration Rules

  • You must be 13 years of age or older to play on or register to any of our services (Discord, Minecraft, Website). Players under 13 will be immediately removed from the network.
  • Underage Discord Members should be reported directly to Discord.
  • You must not sell or buy a registered server within our network.
  • Using bots, or any form of compromised accounts is forbidden.
  • Accounts must not be shared between users.
  • Server Names, Profile Names, Usernames and Server MOTDs must all be appropriate.
  • Redirecting players from PufferMC to external sites/servers is not allowed, with an exception of your PufferMC server’s Discord, Website, Social Media or Voting Site.

Content Guidance

We are a PG13 service. We strongly encourage players not to partake in or discuss the following topics:

  • Swearing (including misspellings), Slurs, Discriminatory Speech
  • Political discussion
  • Drugs
  • Sexual jokes or references
  • Religious topics
  • War crimes
  • Topics of violence (War, Murder, Torture, Abuse)
  • Suggestive content (Nudity, Romantic Messages, Erotic Roleplay)
  • Discussion of illegal activities (Terrorism, Drugs, Gambling)
  • Recreation of tragic events (Shootings, Terrorism, Natural Disasters, Human Rights violations)
  • Inappropriate skins (Racist, Nudist, Suggestive, Offensive)

Spam

Spamming is annoying for all players. Examples include:

  • Repeating the same message in quick succession
  • Posting song lyrics
  • Spamming private messages
  • Mass pinging in Discord
  • Spamming staff or other users

Staff Disrespect

Our staff are here to help and enforce the rules. Please treat them with respect. Unacceptable behavior includes:

  • Harassing in-game, on Discord, emails, or in person
  • Threatening behavior (physical or doxxing)
  • Spreading rumors to belittle staff
  • Spamming private messages

Scams and Deceit

  • Scam links or malicious attachments
  • Fake advertisements (Discord or in-game)
  • Impersonating staff
  • Encouraging users to break rules
  • Asking for personal or private payments
  • Spreading false information about PufferMC, our services, or our staff
  • Evading punishment of any kind

PufferMC reserves the right to refuse service and suspend users at any time at their discretion.

The rules are regularly monitored and updated by staff and may change without notice. It is your responsibility to remain up to date. These rules are not limited by the language used. PufferMC staff reserves the right to use all available methods of punishment to protect the network.
